Your Support – You can support and help OPD maintain its health initiatives and community health in various ways:
Donate with a PayPal Account – If you have a PayPal account, you can make your generous donation to OPD securely through the “Donate through PayPal Giving Fund” button below. The transaction will be fee-free to you and to OPD. Your tax letter will be emailed to you directly from PayPal Giving Fund as the original recipient of the donation.
PayPal Giving Fund is an independent IRS-registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose mission is to support nonprofits by connecting them to fundraising opportunities. PayPal Giving Fund collects donations and distributes them to charities at the end of each month.
Donate without a PayPal Account – If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still donate to OPD securely via PayPal by clicking on the button below. The transaction will be fee-free to you. The tax letter will be issued by PayPal.
Tax Deduction – OPD is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation organized for charitable purposes. All OPD officials, board members, and team paddlers are volunteers, and no one receives compensation, which means that your generous donation benefits the entire team in support of OPD’s mission and programs. Your donation to OPD is tax deductible to the extent allowed by tax regulations.
Non Discrimination Pledge – We pledge that OPD’s use of any donation from anyone will not discriminate against those it serves based on gender, race, color, disability, age, religious or political belief, sexual orientation, gender identity, social background, ethnic or national origin, language, marital or civil partnership status, veteran status, or other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws.
Other Ways to Support OPD – You can certainly support OPD by doing things that you love, like shopping!
Amazon – The Amazon Smile program ended on February 20, 2023. Thank you for your past support of the program.
eScrip – If you shop with selected merchants or online, e.g., ebay, you can support OPD by registering your store membership card or your debit/credit card through eScrip, and selecting Oyster Point Dragons as your beneficiary organization. These stores will anonymously donate a certain percentage of your eligible purchases to OPD via eScrip, net of fees, at no cost to you. You will get access to special offers and coupons too through the eScrip program.
